Stork in the Bushes

A stork is a rare occurrence in the UK, as they have been extinct on the isles for half a millennium.

100 storks were released a few years ago, but it took until May 15 2020, until it was announced that the first native chicks had hatched – the first to be born in Britain since 1416.

I was lucky enough to see a fully grown stork in southern England while it was having a rest in the bushes.
