Description
Zilla spider sitting in its web. (Macro)
'Zilla Diodia' is a small orb-weaving spider with distinctive chestnut and cream coloured markings on the abdomen. The carapace is a light brown with some white hairs on the head, and the legs are light brown with some dark bands. The males and females look the same, but the male has a smaller abdomen.
These spiders will normally be seen in the middle of their webs which have a distinctive latticed area in the central area.
